PFW: Rihanna and the Bad Gals

Rihanna has done it yet again. After receiving the Humanitarian of the Year Award from Harvard University, pop singer and icon Robyn Fenty, or better known as Rihanna, jetted to Paris to debut her third collection with Puma.

The Fenty x Puma collection was unveiled in Paris on Monday, March 6. The theme was “Fenty University”, which was set at Paris’ Bibliothèque Nationale de France.
The collection boasted bright colors, splashes of green and orange on varsity jackets, letterman sweaters, spunky and lou d tracksuits, walking down library study tables. Private school plaid on skirts, shorts, dresses, ponchos, even thigh high boots, all topped off with Rihanna’s carefree attitude. Rihanna, inspired by her own school uniform, made pieces that could be wearable and chic. It looks like crop tops and puffer jackets are on the back-to-school list.

The third collection is a big change from RiRi’s recent work, which paraded Japanese-goth and then sweet, Mary-Antoinette styles the year after. Of course, whatever Rihanna is releasing, people will be wearing, which paved the way for her Creeper platform sneakers to be the 2016 Shoe of the Year.
